First edition of this scarce land promotion packet touting the advantages of building a vacation home at Shoreline Estates in 1967 in Clatsop County, which broke ground and became part of the Shoreline Sanitary Distric in 1969. Bucher (1918-2003) began as a journalist with the Oregon State Journal, heading their Vancouver office, and then formed Bucher Realty following World War II. Pollman, together with Palmquist (1911-1992) & Wright, were very successful and influential midwestern Mid-Century Modern architects throughout Michigan, and surrounding states through the 1950s. Their Detroit-based firm, Home Planners' Inc. was established in 1946 in Farmington Hills, MI, and continued publishing house plan books up to 1970's in and around Detroit, later being moved and resurrected in Tucson, Arizona with the company still issuing house plan books into the 21st Century. No copies of any in Worldcat.

Six original artwork architectural house elevation paintings, painted in oil & watercolour on green-coloured art board, sized 23 x 14 in. up to 24 x 15 in., w/ pen & pencil annotations & markings at lower fore-edge recto & verso, original stamps for Detroit, MI location on versos, re-stamped at lower corners w/ later Tucson, AZ address (some minor bumping to couple corners, edgewear, rubbing), still excellent condition. These well-executed original architectural elevation paintings, intended to be published in the storied company's Mid-Century Modern house plan books, encompass ranch style homes, with stone & brick facades, and two very stylish lakeside vacation homes. In the post-World War II period, Home Planners Inc. targeted do-it-yourself homeowners and builders, with an emphasis on not only providing house plans but also specialized architectural services, and produced many different Mid-Century Modern house plan books and guides. Palmquist (1911-1992) & Wright, together with Pollman were very successful and influential midwestern Mid-Century Modern architects throughout Michigan, and surrounding states through the 1950s. Their Detroit-based firm, Home Planners' Inc. was established in 1946 in Farmington Hills, MI, and continued publishing house plan books up to 1970's in and around Detroit, later being moved and resurrected in Tucson, Arizona with the company still issuing house plan books into the 21st Century. These original elevation paintings include one marked as "Void" and another stamped as being created for their 5th Edition of their Architectural Detroit Design.
