Book
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. May be a book club edition. Clothbound book condition: good. No dust jacket. Yellow cloth boards show little wear front or back, but spine shows slight creasing at top; sewn binding good, but slowly separating from spine; pages very good, unmarked but slightly tanned. 280 pages; 8.5 X 5.5 X 1; 1 lb. 4 oz. shipping weight. This book was new to me, but it is a favorite with many. It's something of a historical novel, taking place in Seattle beginning in 1889, the year of the Great Seattle Fire. Annie Jordan, a working class girl, lives with her mother who runs a saloon on the docks, a great deal of which was destroyed in the fire. This novel is prized by readers for its accurate description of Seattle in that era, and because the character of Annie is so finely drawn.
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Book Club. No Stock Photos! We photograph every item. 280 pages; corners lightly bumped, some edge wear to boards, small stain at base of spine; jacket is in pieces in fair condition, numerous chips and tears. Best-selling story of a redheaded, boom-town Cinderella. A girl from Skid Row in early Seattle who knew what she wanted, an unforgettable character, and she has done a superb job in depicting all the color, glitter, and lawlessness of early Seattle. Loosely based on author's own Pacific Northwest pioneer family.

Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Annie Jordan was as wild and untamed as the great Northwest at the turn of the century, and her rise to wealth and position paralleled the growth of Seattle. The Mylar-protected color-illustrated dust-jacket has some rips and rubbing, and some missing pieces. The grey book-binding itself is very nice. The interior is very clean and tight. 280 pgs.,
