First Edition
Flexible Cloth. Condition: Very Good. B&W Photographs (illustrator). First Edition. 277 pgs. Extremely rare, in fact, this was the only copy of anything like this after an extensive search of the internet. (This is the seventh written record of the class of 1899). The total class of 1899 membership was 245 men, 141 responded to and attended the 20th reunion in 1919. Total number of privately printed books produced could not of been many more copies than this. VG Shape, with bright gilt font on fc and spine. Flexible black covers are very nice with almost no wear, and a minimum of scuffing. One ding on top rc, lightly bumped spine ends, rounded corners from publisher, red page edges fading to pink. Totally unmarked inside and out, decorated feps, tight, clean, square, no musty odors or other damage. This book is written by highly educated, intelligent, practical men, and is very entertaining and informative to read. Most of the hundreds of b&w photos in here are one-of-a-kind, and would not of been published before or after. Includes a short biography of all class members, listing family, occupation, war record, and city of residence. Also recounts some of the sporting events of their four years of college. An exceptional and unique research source for historians (either armchair, or professional !), professors, geneologists, or other interested parties. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Private Press.
