Hardcover. Condition: Good. Cream colored cloth covers exhibit light bumping on corners. Vol.1 spine is soiled on the top edge. Vol.2 has a pencil mark on the front cover. Gold lettering on spine is bright. Text and page ends are slightly yellowed due to age. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. B&W illustrations. Red slipcase is in poor condition with some taped edges holding it together. Heavy wear on edges and corners. One taped edge has split. A outline of the history of the old northwest from the start of the "great migration" in 1815 to 1840 which roughly marks the end of the pioneer period. All of our books are individually inspected and described. Never ex-lib unless explicitly described as such.
