A short biography of Frenchy McCormick who first came to the boomng Texas Panhandle town of Tascosa in 1880 and was the last resident of the by then ghost town in 1941. She was probably a dance hall girl originally from Baton Rouge, LA, but no one really knows much about her life before coming to Tascosa. Much of this book is excerpted from Chapter 13 of Panhandle Pilgrimage, but this is the first printing of this stand alone book. A bit of spotting to lower left of back cover. Light soiling to margins of front cover. Interior is clean and bright. Book now protected in plastic sleeve. Ships same or next business day. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 28 pages; Signed by Author.
