Some mild wear noted to tail of spine. Pages browning with age but clean and very readable. Elain Shepard went to Vietnam for the Mutual Broadcasting System and the Nort American Newspaper Alliance. She concentrated on the men who were fighting there, in particular the fliers - ranging from those who manned the big choppers or the huge bombers to the fighter pilots and the unsug heroes of the war, the daring men who flew the tiny FAC spotter planes. But especially she frequented those who winged up over the North at night, tghe only fliers entitled to wear the Doom Pussy Patch. The legend around this animal translates "I have flown into the jaws of the cat of death" known as the Doom Pussy.
