    Hardcover. Condition: vg. 64 leaves resting in cream stiff paper folding map with matching sturdy cardboard slipcase. Leaves additionally protected by silver paper folder and decorative parchment paper. Title gold-stamped on folder and on slipcase front and spine. 60 of the leaves are illustrated with various types of jewelry which were offered at the Southern Cross jewelry store in Tokyo. Verso of plate illustrated with photographic color reproductions of stunning jewelry, recto with same image printed smaller in b/w. Black & white illustrations with short description, as well as diamond carat information of each piece. Five plates are reproductions of color photographs showing a Japanese beauty with diamonds in wedding gown, two plates depict the interior and layout of the store in Tokyo (these printed on verso only). One text page with introduction in English by Tadashi Sekiyama, the Chairman of the company.
