Trade paperback, has previous owner's name and gift plate to first free endpage, bump to top of spine with slight peel and small chip to spine plate, slight bumps to base of spine and corners, very slight edgewear, light rubbing with some smudges, and slight reading crease with a couple tiny scrapes to spine, otherwise a solid VG copy.

Profusely illustrated with 14 plates depicting b/w facsimile photographs of the archaeological site, artifacts, architectural features, the excavation itself and a number of charts, diagrams and plans of the site and the methods used during excavation. There are also 4 tables depicting various data. This was the personal copy of Bruce Byron, the noted author and long time curator of the Southwest Museum of The American Indians in Pasadena, California. Minor sunning to wrappers, otherwise book is in near fine condition.
