Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Red boards with dark lettering. Front hinge is cracked on the inside between the front board and the first page which shows as the title page. This makes me think some FEPs are missing. Text pages are heavily toned. Binding is not tight. The red boards have some soiling marks. A small splotch of paint is on the right bottom of the front board and there is one on the back. Both stains are no bigger than a quarter, but are not of the same radius. Some glass stains. Rear free end paper was torn out or is missing. Other end papers are free from reamainder marks. Top front corner is dog eared. Other corners are slightly swollen.

Blue decorated boards soiled and shelfworn with wear along edges (to boards in places), spine ends worn and frayed, and edge points bumped and worn to boards. Internally, decorated end-pages lightly soiled with a previous owners name and address to inside front board, otherwise paper age-toned but clean. The binding is not as tight as once was, with front hinge cracked and rear started. A large oversized book, postage will be at cost.
