Some spotting to toned spine of jacket. Possibly from a private library, but bearing no marks or numbers. There is evidence of a bookplate or possibly pocket removal on the rear endpaper. Monograph on the Russian Jewish artist Anatoly L'vovich Kaplan (1902-1980). Born in the Jewish settlement of Pale, in Russia, he lived all his life in Russia, dying in Leningrad in 1980.
