In good condition, with most wear concentrated around edges and corners of exterior. Two volumes custom-bound together. Hinges remain tight and text block remains bound well. Small inscription at front of book. Small tear to bottom of frontispiece along spine. Bookplate from Long on front pastedown. With the Compliments of the Boston Merchants Association, December 30, 1885 engraved in gilt to front board. Beautifully illustrated with black-and-white engravings throughout.
