Soft cover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket As Issued. Light wrinkling to upper right corner of all pages as well as the top edge of about half of the pages in the magazine from water damage (but no evident stain on most of those pages and only very slight stain on a few pages). Very slight soiling to covers and very light water stain and wrinkling to top of the back cover only. Very little wear otherwise. The magazine will be packed with a backing card, bubble-wrapped and shipped in a sturdy, flat box to ensure safe transit. This issue includes: "True Veteran Jeep Oxford Express" by W. Soft cover. Condition: Very Good Plus. First Edition. 1982. 51pp. B&W illustrations and facsimiles. "James C. Tait joined the Depot Training Camp of the 10th Battn. East Yorkshire Regiment on 19 April 1915, at the age of 15 . When he reached military age (lowered to 18) in September, 1917, he enlisted in the Durham Light Infantry and was drafted to the 7th Battn. in France in April, 1918. This battalion, as part of the 50th division, was sent to what was normally the French sector of the front, between Soissons and Reims . British casualties - killed, wounded and taken prisoner - were very heavy, and James was indeed lucky to escape unscathed." Very light general shelf wear to covers. The booklet is otherwise in excellent condition. There are no inscriptions and all contents are tight and clean.
