Softcover. Condition: g. Second edition. 12mo. Blind blue wrappers. Decorative initials with head- and tailpieces. Fascinating work in which the author treated a number of dogmatic and important scripture passages, and in which he chided the interpretations of Luther, Chemnitz, and Hunnius as untextual. As a consequence, quite a number of Saxon theologians put a complaint out against Johan Tarnow. Wrappers slightly soiled with spine age-toned. Former owner's inscription on top margin of title-page. Upper corners, up to page 9, creased. Lower corners, up to page 9, creased/folded in. Some foxing throughout. Text in Latin, with some Greek and Hebrew. Overall, binding and interior in good condition.
