On offer is an intriguing Russian language manuscript diary handwritten by a 14-15 year old orphan girl. Mere months before the Russian Revolution in October 1917 makes for an interesting relic of the times. Casual translation finds the girl describing her life at school, her classes, friends and a section we found charming titled "I AM". Collectors and historians will recognize the uniqueness of such an unusual piece of Russian history. The boards are a little shabby with wear to the extremities; the boards and joints are reasonably sound; some of the pages have been torn out, there is a color pull-out map. 5.25" x 3.75" x .5".
