Bumped at corners and spine ends, covers lightly soiled, damp stain that affects bottom half of pages at corners then gradually disappears by page 148, pages lightly toned, a few scattered small spots (not foxing) in first quarter of book. Volume 1 (pages 1 to 382) contains Kingston Court Records, 1661-1667 , and Volume 2 (pages 383 to 849) contains Kingston Court Records, 1668-1675, and Secretary's Paper, 1664-1675. Volume 1 includes a photo frontispiece of the first page of the Wildwyck (Kingston) records. Volume 2 contains a reproduction of a portion of a 1685 map that shows Kingston misplaced to the west. Each volume is a thick octavo bound in black cloth with red cloth panels containing lettering in gold on the front cover and also the spine. These two hardback copies are in fine condition with a birthday inscription to the owner on the inside cover of vol 1. They will be carefully wrapped and boxed for safe shipping.
