Among the notable signatories were G.T. Pollexfen, Grandfather to W.B. and Jack Yeats, A. Sim, High Sheriff Co. Sligo, John Hosie, High Sheriff Co.Leitrim, W.R. Fenton, Crown Solicitor, T.J. Bayly, Curate of Calry and 31 other friends Mr. Barton was also presented with an unspecified git. Unframed. A scarce indication of a more innocent era. In today's climate a banker would be run out of town on a tumbril.
