Photo essay of Nureyev, who was invited to Paris to dance 'Le Jeune Homme et la Mort', a french piece choreographed by Roland Petit, which was originally conceived by Jean Cocteau in 1946. Very good condition. Wraps are lightly tanned. Interior pages are unaffected. The cardboard slipcase has slightly more tanning but is in excellent shape.

Photographs of Nureyev [1938-1993] by Jurgen Vollmer.
