    1st Edition. 20.7 x 27 cm fawn cloth with red stamped decoration and grey titles to the front and spine 127[1]pp with 24 full page illustrations on glossy paper, 12 colour, 12 sepia and 20 black and white line illustrations within the text. In original printed dust jacket. Clean bright boards with a hint of pushing to the foot of the spine only. Internally there is a bookplate to the front pastedown and a little tape tape marking to the free endpapers. There is some light spotting to some of the illustrations. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable clear cover (not shown), is surprising well preserved considering its age with some dust marking, mainly to the rear panel, a little toning to the spine and a little rubbing to the spine tips and corners. There is a closed 2cm tear to the upper joint at the head of the spine and a 1.5 cm tear in the centre of the head of the spine and a couple of 2mm holes in the spine 1.5 cm down from the head of the spine.
