Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. No DJ. Cloth covers have heavy staining on edges, spine and hinges along with fading along the edges and spine, especially the back cover. Yellowing to inside front and back covers due to age. There is no dj just the flaps. Text is clean and unmarked. Hinges are shaken but still firmly attached. Shows works of 16 different American printmakers with over a hundred illustrations. Includes preliminary drawings, diagrams for color printing, photographs of presses, blocks and tools and many completed prints. All of our books are individually inspected and described. Never ex-lib unless explicitly described as such.

Contents otherwise tight and pretty clean. Minor soiling to e/p's. There is a musty odour. DW is pretty tidy with some edge-wear. It has been price clipped to top corner. This book may well be regarded as a veritable storehouse of technical method and a collection of inspiring examples. More than 100 illustrations are reproduced, including preliminary drawings, diagrams for colour printing, photographs of presses, blocks and tools and many completed prints. 16 American printmakers are represented.
