Illustrated at each opening with a full page drawing, first and then alternating pages in full color. Illustrated paper over boards, boards soiled and scuffed, edges very rubbed, corners worn to boards, spine top and tail rubbed and chipped. Joints and hinges good, binding firm.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Nice 1st edition hardcover in medium blue cloth covered boards showing light rubs at spine ends. Tips still fairly sharp, no writing inside the book but the complete page block pulled out of the three staples long ago. It is all holding together fine, just laid in, hinge papers fine, illustrated endpapers. Victorian animal adventures.
