Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. This volume has a preface and a prologue, five parts, sixteen chapters, notes, a selected bibliography and an index. 486 pages, outer edge of pages are deckled, a bit of brown spotting near the top of the outside deckled pages and on the top of the pages there is a significant amount of very light browning. Inside the front cover there are two white stickers which apparently covered a prior owners name. There is the start of some age toning here and there on a few pages. Covers are blue with sharp gilt lettering on the front cover and the spine. A stated first printing. All in all, a quite presentable copy of a increasingly scarce work, available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!.
