Bound in full purple cloth, blindstamp design on front cover, red lettering stamped on spine. Fine in a dust jacket that shows a touch of sun-fading on the top right corner of the dust jacket. The book is dedicated to Charles Bagley Wright who, with Virginia Bloedel Wright, was a leading patron of the Seattle Art Museum, and whose collection of Japanese textiles fleshes out the collection exhibited. Contains a fine assembly of essays, including Iwao Nagasaki on the folk textile tradition in Japan, Louise Allison Cort on Bast fibers, Mary Dusenbury on Kasuri , Michiyo Morioka on Ainu textiles, etc. Corners sharp and binding is tight. A nice copy. Dust jacket is now housed in a clear, removable archival protector.
