LAID IN VOLUME 1 is an envelope that contains three items: 1) Original autograpjy nameplate signed personally by some Retrospect authors and contributors (Peel off the back and stick to blank page opposite title page in Volume 1). 2) Replica of autographs secured by young John R. Worth at the gala book signing part and annual Rush County Historical Society meeting, November 15, 1984. 3) Reorder form. Thick oblong 4to. (29 cm.) Vol. 1: xii, 416p.; Vol. 2: vi[6]3-552p. Introduction by Pamela J. Bennett, Director, Indiana Historical Bureau. Both volumes profusely illustrated with black and white captioned photos, several drawings, plat maps, charts, and the like. Endpapers are maps and photos. Both bound in brown cloth with gilt letters on the front cover and the spine and with a vignette of Rush County Courthouse in gilt on the front cover. Condition of both volumes: very minor wear to extremities, cloth clean and bright, gilt bright, previous owner's address sticker inside cover of each volume [Nedra M. Steele, 425Lockerbie Rd., Shelbyville, IN 46176], else fine with no internal markings. No dust jackets. Volume 1 was produced under the editorial control of he Indiana Historical Bureau. Historical Bureau editors Robert G. Barrows and Shirley S. McCord had direct responsibility for working with the manuscript of Donald T. Zimmer. Volume 2 was produced unthe the editorial control of the Rush County Historical Society with Emy Waggener having editorial responsibility for the volume. Volume 1 consists of "Change in Rural Indiana: A History of Rush County, Indiana, 1920-1980 by Donald T. Zimmer. Volume 2 consists of Business history -- Organizational history -- Family history -- Potpourri. Original autograph names as follows: Pamela J.
