These six thick folio volumes cover American foreign relations for the period March 3, 1789 to March 3, 1859. Bindings are half-leather and marbled boards. Condition: ex-library copies; bindings are pretty scruffy, some with covers detached and leather spines are chipped with some portions missing; some of the volumes are repaired with old cloth tape. About this Item: Washington: Gales & Seaton. Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Seven folio volumes bound in half-leather & marbled boards. Folding maps. Condition: ex-library copies; the bindings of these 7 volumes are pretty shabby with most of the spines badly chipped or rubbed and faded. Most of the boards are either detached or nearly so & some are taped in place. Internally however, the books are quite good aside from some very minor toning. Given the scarcity of these volumes, they are worthy candidates for rebinding. Overall good condition. Seller Inventory # 302563
