About this Item: IMX, 1997. Soft cover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. Laurent Melone and Dennis Adams (illustrator). On August 5, 1997 Dennis Adams and Laurent Malone walked non-stop from downtown Manhattan, across the Williamsbridge, to JFK Airport. they followed the straightest path possible towards their destination, crossing neighborhoods, expressways and cemeteries. The walk took 11 1/2 hours. Adams and Malone shot photographs alongbtheir route accordingbto an agreement to produce an undetermined number of paired images. One 35 mm camera was shared with the understanding that either person could take a photograph of their own choosing at any time during the walk. When this occured , the person who shot the photograph handed the camera to the other person, eho then shot a second photograph in exactly the opposite direction, with no attention given to subject selection, framing or adjustment in aperture and focus. The book contains the complete 243 paired sets of photographs in the sequence in which they were taken. Le livre regroupe 243 paires de photogr. prises lors d'une marche des deux artistes de Downtown Manhattan à New york jusqu'à l'aéroport J.F. Kennedy. Seller Inventory # 000673
