Come sempre, contiene tutte le nove tavole firmate sia da Aristide Torchia (AT) e Lucifero (LCF), copia esatta di quelle del film La Nona Porta di Polanski con Johnny Depp. Il testo contenuto nel libro è in LATINO, ma ricordate che Le Nove Porte è uno Pseudobiblium, ovvero, un libro che non esiste nella realtà, ma solo nella finzione cinematografica. Carta Fabriano Avorio anticata lungo i bordi. Ex Libris in pergamena di Libriproibiti con solito timbro a monogramma per la qualità. "The Nine Gates of the Kingdom of Shadows" was used as the centerpiece book for the 1999 movie: The Ninth Gate; directed by Roman Polanski and starring Johnny Depp. In the movie Three copies are known to survive, one owned by Boris Balkan, one in the possession of Baroness Kessler, one in the Fargas collection. The Nine Gates of the Kingdom of Shadows a.k.a. De Umbrarum Regni Novem Portis was written by Aristide Torchia in Venice, 1666. This rare book was alleged to grant the owner access to the supernatural powers of the Kingdom of Shadows. The book contains all nine woodcut engravings rumored to be copied from the apocryphal Delomelanicon, and that play a fundamental role in the process of summoning demonic forces, a book purportedly written by the "Devil himself". The Nine Gates is said to contain within its pages knowledge to raise the devil. This is a wonderful reproduction or prop book of the original book in the movie. Hardcover made to look worn.
