The interior of the book is crisp and clean, with no marks or wear. The turquoise cloth covers are fresh, showing next to no wear. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and is also in excellent condition, with minor wear at tips and corners. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "Polly and Frank Fiedling have a new shoe shop and a new baby daughter. To help the bears and Hannibal with their extra work, Polly orders a bright new nylon bear named Hi-Jinks. The bears are slow to accept this "groovy" new bear with her books and bells and miniskirt, but finally are charmed by her smile and good nature. And when she helps Frank win a prize for his window display, Hi-Jinks becomes part of the group for good. They make another new friend one day when on a picnic with Polly, Frank and the baby". The interior is clean and crisp, with no marks or wear. The green covers are fresh, with just a hint of wear at tips and corners. Synopsis: "The Shoe Shop Bears and Hannibal the toy elepant are now living in the new shoe shop with Polly and Frank Fielding. Polly has a baby, and to share the Bears' extra work, Frank orders Hi-Jinks, a bright new nylon teddy, on offer on a cereal packet. The older Bears are slow to accept the rather 'with-it' Hi-Jinks, with her smart fringed boots, the bells around her neck, and the skirt that eveyrone agreed was a mere cake frill, but they were very pleased when she helps win a "Highly-Commended" for Frank's window display in their local competition.".
