Very good. Contains a series of letters of protest against Jurgen, arguably one of Cabell's most notable work. James Branch Cabell (1879-1958) was an American fantasy fiction author from Virginia whose novels peaked in popularity in the 1920s. Known for his escapist, ironic, and satirical stories, Cabell published 52 books in his lifetime.

Vintage publicity photograph of William Gargan and Judith Barrett from the 1937 film. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. William Gargan stars as a pugnacious New York radio show producer who is fired after punching the sponsor of the "Crunchie-Munchie Hour" during rehearsal, and finds a job managing WBAM, a rural radio station housed in a barn in Valley Falls. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with a faint diagonal crease to the upper left.
