Some of the b/w illustrations have been neatly colored in with crayon, including the rear endpaper and pastedown. Scarecrow caption opposite p255 has been corrected. Dust jacket is edgeworn, torn and has some large chips. Lists to The Hungry Tiger of Oz on front flap, c.1926. Pencil checks and dates to lists on flaps.
