The dust jacket is a facsimile wrapped in brodart for preservation purposes. The exterior of the book is in a blue cloth with black lettering, has a fair amount of shelf rubbing small amount of cloth lost along fore-edge corners, some minor stains to front and very minor to back cover, slight bent to top fore-edge corners likely from being dropped. The interior of the book is in great condition, very clean, a few small spots of foxing, a small amount of pencil on page 65, small amount of surface paper lost on free page opposite front paste-down, and some minor dog earring. 'Tanar of Pellucidar is a novel by American writer Edgar Rice Burroughs, the third in his series set in the interior world of Pellucidar. It first appeared as a six-part serial in The Blue Book Magazine from March-August 1929. A classic wraparound DJ by Paul F Berdanier. The book is in very good shape with sharp color and dark print, but a light stain (thumb print size) at the bottom fore edge of the pages (doesn't penetrate). The last two pages of the text have a 0.5" closed tear and one of the pages of ads in the rear has some loss at the top corner. The DJ is clear and bright with light edge wear, small loss at the corners of the spine and a 0.5" closed tear at the top center of the front panel. Overall a very good copy.
