Original Cloth. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Collection of nine plays with an introduction by the editor and nine illustrations. This volume also included an index to the contents of all five volumes in the set. The plays in this volume are Harlequin in his Element and Harlequin Harper by Thomas John Pitt Dibdin, Fortunio and his Seven Gifted Servants and The Island of Jewels by James Robinson Planché, The Enchanted Isle by Robert Barnabas and William Brough, Robinson Crusoe by Henry James Byron, The Field of Cloth and Gold by William Brough, Aladdin by Edward Litt Leman Blanchard and The Sleeping Beauty and the Beast by J. Hickory Wood and Arthur Collins. Boards have slight bumping to the corners. Quite heavy brown spotting to the top edges of the pages and light marking to the fore edges. The pages are clean and unmarked. Price clipped jacket has slight discolouration and chipping. There is a quarter inch closed tear to the top edge of the front panel and another to the top left corner next to the spine which is slightly chipped at the top. slight rubbing to the corners. First printing. Heavy item so there will be an additional postage charge for overseas orders.
