This edition probably dates from the early 1950s. Quarter inch piece missing from the bottom right corner of the front cover. The spine has reading creasing, a small surface chip at the bottom, edge rubbing and a small closed tear at the top next to the front cover. The covers are pulling away from the text block slightly at the front and back but it is fairly secure. Browning to the page edges. Brown spotting to the inside of the front cover. Light brown spotting to the first and last pages and the pages are browned but otherwise clean and unmarked. Cover illustration by Ley Kenyon. First printing.
