After World War II she went to live at the Benedictine Abbaye Saint Louis du Temple at Limon-par-Igny.The English translation was written by Rumer Godden (1907?1998) who went to the Benedictine Abbey in France and spent time with the poet to do the translation.

The jacket is price clipped and has a little wear which is mainly showing at the top of the spine. It also has a little discolouration as is commonly seen for this early edition.
