End-papers have a densely repeating motif of a torch, printed in ocher against a near beige background. Original 1961 price printed on front flap of dust-jacket. ********************************** CONDITION BOOK : VERY GOOD DUST-JACKET : GOOD PLUS This is a previously owned book that remains clean and presentable, with the following particulars noted :: EXTERIOR : Spine extremities are compressed, else the exterior is clean, with but negligible signs of handling. / BINDING : Solid / INTERIOR : A minute over-cut to the rear end-paper paste-down displays (a production effect), else the interior is clean and free of marking. No writing - no signatures or marginalia. / DUST-JACKET : A small tea stain displays on the rear panel near the top, next to the spine fold, and a couple of much smaller similar spots display near the bottom fore-edge corner of the same (hence the condition grade). There is an old price-sticker shadow on the front flap, just under the original price. The edges display small nicking, which is most obvious along the top edge, which also has some barely discernible crimping. The spine panel folds display slight rub. Else the jacket is clean and attractive.
