Qualche lieve traccia d'uso nei volumi. Tomo terzo, quarto e forse quinto usciti nella seria "Romanzi Storici estratti dalle cronache di Bologna, Ravenna, Ferrara, Ravenna e Forlì di Cesare Monari Bolognese Maestro di Musica. L'ultima opera non presenta il frontespizio, ha numerazione propria che corrisponde alla copia censita in ICCU. Prima edizione assai rara, un solo esemplare censito in ICCU. L'opera uscì in 6 tomi e qui alla fine del terzo è presente l'elenco dei sottoscrittori. L'autore, maestro di scuola, è celebre per una Storia di Bologna che ebbe grande successo. Ogni romanzo della serie aveva un'ambientazione romagnola. Il primo qui presentato si svolge a Ravenna, il secondo a Forlì ed il terzo a Bologna. Raro.
