Horrifying, but constructive and, according to the publishe's blurb, will leave the reader 'with a vastly extended understanding of revolutionary China.' The dust jacket is intact but is chipped in places with a couple of very small closed tears (< 15 mm). Not visible externally, there is some staining from the book's red cloth boards onto the dj's inside; down the spine and rear cover (image). This has also left a slightly paler patch of red on the back board (image). The spine features bold gilt (gold) titles at the head and foot. Binding tight.
