My wife, Ilene, who has been the business manager of the magazine for many years, used to type in the articles directly from the author's manuscript. That was in a day before the scanning of text was invented. Now, of course, most of the authors submit their articles on CDROM or via the internet. Good friends John Silveira and Don Childers, who have been with me since the first issue, are still with the magazine. Don is still a youngster at age 80.
