Hardcover. 70pg. hardcover in dust jacket, 6.25 x 8.25 inches. Dust jacket is heavily worn and has a small tear at the top right, else very good. Signed and inscribed on the half title page. Poems address Black identity with pieces written for Malcolm X, John Coltrane, Martin Luther King, Jr. Price was born in Arkansas in 1940, and became the first Black faculty member of Ohio University. He taught at Wesleyan, Case Western Reserve, and directed the Afroamerican Studies Department at Western Washington State College. Later, he served on the board of the East Cleveland Library. He passed away in 2021.
