First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Not a book but a 10-inch, 33-1/3 rpm vinyl "Microgroove Unbreakable Long Play" (mono) record album, Decca DL 5531, very-good-plus vinyl in a very-good cardboard jacket with strips of masking tape along both top and bottom edges. (Vinyl could pass for "near fine" save that record plays through a strange white frosted appearance to final track of Side One -- "Cabin," by Paul Bowles & Tennessee Williams (see scans.) Vinyl disc is in a soft, transparent plastic inner sleeve -- could be an aftermarket sleeve, since it looks big enough to hold a full-sized, 12-inch LP, but as the disc came in this thing and it's doing the job we have left it as found. The slow-breathing Miss Southern, who doesn't exactly jump the jive, also offers Cole Porter's "Ev'rytime We Say Goodbye," Noel Coward's "Mad About the Boy," the Kern-Hammerstein standard "All In Fun," four others. Reduced from $25.
