Softcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Volume I, Number 1. Cover by Robert Winthrop Chanler. Slim small quarto. iv (ads, topedge unopened), 16, v-viii (ads) pp. Oversize wrappers worn with some soil, small chips and tears, and slight loss at one corner of the lower wrap, sound and near very good. Prints work by Amy Lowell, Alfred Kreymborg, Elinor Wylie, Sara Teasdale, Isidor Schneider, Louis Grudin, John Gould Fletcher, and Gene Derwood. Gene Derwood, a painter and poet who was also Oscar Williams' wife (she is also noted as holding the magazine's copyright) is described in the contributors section as "a young poet, only eighteen, making her home at present in New York." A nice publication - the ads are printed on one folio page of thin, pale green paper folded twice, and the poems in the interior are printed without fuss on high quality paper.
