Soft cover. Condition: Fair. From the Dayton Globe Iron Works Company of Dayton, Ohio, this 6 by 9 inch softcover catalog is 79 pages and in overall fair condition. It is a descriptive catalogue of the New American Turbine patented and manufactured by the Dayton Globe Iron Works Co., successors to Stout, Mills, & Temple. Catalogue R, Jan 1, 1919. The dark grey paper cover is decorated on the front with border and globe. There are tears along the spine, about an inch from each end, and two holes in the center. The front has been stamped for a catalogue reference library and dated Sep 25, 1933 and small call number sticker. Additionally, there is the name of the original owner, AL Herrick, on the cover and half title page. The front cover is removed from the binding of the text block. There is a crack to the gutter at page 42 where four pages are missing. Pages nine through twelve have been cut in half. The remainder of the pages cover tables for turbine specifications and dimensions. Also included are illustrations of specific design numbers with descriptions for their application and benefits.
