Raymond Dewey who is mentioned in the index, and a stain on the bottom edge prevent fine. Jacket shows minor edge wear and a few scrapes. This book tells the story of Idaho fruit from the beginning to 1980, with facts about the development of large commercial tracts, and adjustment to mechanization after the depression. It also contains biographies of many men and women whose lives enriched the horticultural scene. Proceeds from the sale of this book benefit environmental restoration and education.

His books include Fragments of Villainy, Sawtooth Tales, The Idanha Guests and Ghosts of a Historic Idaho Inn, Dowager of Discipline and Idaho the Fruitful Land. This is a collection of Dick's selected columns from the Idaho Statesman. Part One here is devoted to the tribulations of the Chinese immigrants in Idaho. Part 3 (of 4) includes "The Case of the Purloined Locomotive" and a column about Bigfoot. d'Easum signed many copies of this book. This one appears to have been inscribed to Granville Pirie, but both Pirie's and Dick's names have been blacked-out on the front endpaper.
