Ce thème fait étrangement écho à l'actualité, comme bien d'autres aspects de l'oeuvre de Jean-Baptiste Poquelin. Via une narration moderne de type The Crown, Vincent Delmas et Sergio Gerasi nous mènent au plus près des sentiments des personnages. Le lecteur côtoie un Molière au discours sans concession mais aussi l'artiste populaire et l'homme passionné par la nature humaine, qui a redéfini les contours de la comédie.
