Rare set of views of Lucknow and its siege in 1857 by Lieutenant-General Sir James Outram (1803-1863). General Sir David Scott Dodgson (d.1898) served in the Bombay Army nearly all his life and would have served under Outram during the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
