Magazine / Periodical First Edition
Paperback. 48p., 5.5x8.5 inches, very good first edition booklet in stapled camp pictorial wraps. 3185.
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Seattle: Empathy Press, [1976]-1989. 10 vols. Variously paginated between 39 and 70pp; no. 4 with a b&w photo-illustration of Empathy Press publisher Cathy Slavik at front. Saddle-stapled in illustrated wraps. Damp stain and related rippling to rear cover of volume 10, else all volumes very good or better. A mix of first editions (Nos. 4, 8, 9, 10) and reprints (all others, printed on pink paper stock, most but not all of which have 1989 copyright dates in addition to 1976). The first ten volumes of this transvestite fiction serial with elements of forced feminization, bondage, and S&M, described thus on covers: "A unique Novel of how a Male is Trained and Transformed in Being a Female by a Duo of Dominant Women." The first seven volumes by Francis Eberhart, the final three by Donna Keane. Though these ten volumes are commonly cited as a complete run, the serial was evidently revived at some point; we find sales evidence online of issues up to Book #16. OCLC locates four institutions holding copies of this series.
