The original errata slip is laid in. Three maps formerly housed in the rear pocket are lacking. The spine cloth was previously missing and has been sympathetically restored and stabilized to preserve the structure of the binding. The volume remains sound and secure. Light age spotting, particularly to the first few pages. Interior otherwise clean. A solid working copy of this landmark exploration narrative. An honest and readable example of one of the great polar expedition accounts ? offered with full transparency regarding condition.
