Complete with tissue guarded frontispiece portrait (color-tinted), a two-page folding facsimile letter, and all full-page plates and smaller illustrations, as called for. A yellow silk ribbon page marker is bound in. From the title page: "Edited by R. Bowdler Sharp, LL.D, with an Introduction to the Garden Kalendar by the Very Reverend S. Reynolds Hole, Dean of Rochester, & Numerous Illustrations by J. G. Keulemans, Herbert Railton, & Edmund J. Sullivan." Top edge gilt. Bound in the original green cloth with bevelled edges and a gilt-stamped coat of arms on the front cover. All gilt-stamping (spine and front cover) is still bright and shiny.
