The trio -- Allison with Addison Farmer on bass and Ronnie Free on drums -- offers Sunny Boy (sic) Williamson's "Eyesight to the Blind," Jimmy Rogers' "That's Alright," "Groovin' High" (with "all of Dizzy's chord changes"), and Allison originals "Promenade," "Devil in the Cane Field," "Spires," and of course "Autumn Song." Allison sings on "Eyesight to the Blind," "That's All Right" and on the Ellington-Russell standard "Do Nothing 'Til You Hear from Me." Jacket painting by Esmond Edwards. Jacket notes by Joe Goldberg.
