Hardcover. Condition: Fair to Good. F. Barnard, H. C. Selous, Esp., M. Paolo Priolo and others (illustrator). This copy of Pilgrim's Progress has a very unique picture on front of book. It depicts Pilgrim starring ahead and a man, possibly Jesus, pointing the way. It is engraved in a subtle blue color. Book has deckled edged pages. The first 1 or 2 pages are missing, so a copyright date is not available, but it looks to be fairly old. There are explanatory notes by The Rev. Robert Maguire, D.D. together with a complete account of the life of John Bunyan, written by himself. There are 130 beautiful black and white illustrations. A poe, 'The Little Pilgrim is added on the last few pages.
