Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Maggi Fiedler (illustrator). 1st Edition. This offering is a vintage copy of Corky's Pet Parade. Corky's Pet Parade was written and illustrated by Maggi Fiedler. The book was published by Pied Piper Books in 1946 and appears to be a First Edition but is not specifically stated as such. It is definitely a book that was way ahead of its time in that it's about a black boy playing and getting along with whit children . . . a subject not broached by many back then. It is 7 1/4" by 9 7/8" and has about 30 pages with both black-and-white an color illustrations throughout. It's in good + condition and would make a great gift for any vintage illustrated children's book collector. Not many of this type out there. Thank you!!
